What connects all of it: I see gaps between systems, not just within them. That lens shapes how I build products, write books, design games, create art, and even make bone broth. The work is different in each case, but the instinct is the same — find where things don’t connect and build the bridge.

I live in Lisbon, Portugal, where I surf the Atlantic coast, practice ceramics with locally foraged clay and bone ash, and run a small bone broth operation. I’m fluent in English, Portuguese, and Russian, and I’ve been working remotely since 2011.

Products, art, food, games, books — they all make sense together when you see the through-line: human systems deserve better design.
